Alma Greenberg, M.A. is a fourth-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at William James College. Throughout her clinical training, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across hospital, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings.

 

Her past clinical experiences include working with individuals with anxiety disorders, OCD, addiction, and a variety of other mental health challenges. Alma also has interest and experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, through providing therapy, neuropsychological assessment, and executive functioning coaching.

Alma primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as Dialectical BehaviorTherapy (DBT) and other evidence-based treatment approaches.

 

Her professional interests include the treatment of anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), psychological assessment and diagnosis, neurodevelopmental disorders, and working with college-aged and young adult populations.

Alma's dissertation focuses on developing an intervention designed to improve how clients engage with and complete exposure therapy homework between sessions.

​

Outside of her clinical work, Alma enjoys playing guitar, attending concerts, and spending time with her cat.
